Christoffer Bjørk came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by RBK Stars's Stian Kildahl. But to his dismay, Stian Kildahl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jo Asheim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Cent Raknes made a huge save. Cent Raknes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jo Asheim in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute, Jo Asheim made a precise shot to the right of Cent Raknes. RBK Stars's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Cent Raknes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jo Asheim in the 23rd minute. With a little luck, RBK Stars's Cent Raknes got control of the ball when Jo Asheim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jo Asheim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Cent Raknes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half RBK Stars were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Morten Ludviksen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Christoffer Bjørk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gard Lossius, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Morten Ludviksen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Cent Raknes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Stian Kildahl managed to get in a good position for a shot. RBK Stars's supporters rose to their feet, but Stian Kildahl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christoffer Bjørk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as RBK Stars's Lars Jahr slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christoffer Bjørk. That made the score 3-5 after 87 minutes of play. In the 91st minute Gard Lossius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffer Bjørk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christoffer Bjørk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lars Jahr in the 94th minute.
