The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Marius Sundal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christoffer Bjørk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriel Nodland went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Marius Sundal scored 1-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Birk Stene, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Christoffer Bjørk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Aarseth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hvamsal BK's Christoffer Bjørk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morten Søderholm in the 21st minute of play. Ronny Hogstad charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronny Hogstad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ronny Hogstad hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Gabriel Nodland notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Hvamsal BK's Christoffer Bjørk. Christoffer Bjørk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Birk Stene took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morten Ludviksen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Hvamsal BK booed when Forrfjord FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans-Kristian Tjelta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Erik Fosen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 40 played minutes Hvamsal BK got a freekick which was hit by Morten Ludviksen. The wind increased when Erik Aarseth made the kick off in the second half. Birk Stene made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Fosen in the 56th minute of play. Birk Stene showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jo Asheim in the 58th minute of the match. Erik Fosen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Birk Stene tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 62 minutes on the clock, Ronny Hogstad commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 61 minutes into the game, one of Hvamsal BK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 67 minutes into the game, Forrfjord FF's Erik Aarseth nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christoffer Bjørk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. Oddvar Rosenvinge made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Hvamsal BK's Steffen Larsson. Birk Stene took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morten Ludviksen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marius Sundal struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Birk Stene didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hvamsal BK. In the 83rd minute, Erik Fosen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Birk Stene was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6. In the 94th minute Erik Aarseth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffer Bjørk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hvamsal BK's Christoffer Bjørk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Hvamsal BK from getting a goal against them. Christoffer Bjørk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Aarseth in the 98th minute of play. The Forrfjord FF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
