Montessori Warriors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Hollis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Theodor Westlie kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Montessori Warriors's Tor-Magnus Skogvold got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 45 minutes, John Bolstad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montessori Warriors and the Longom players grew even worse after the yellow card. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
