Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jimmy Hallan kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Øygard defense, Sven Midtbø kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aksel Berentsen. The Øygard fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aksel Berentsen should have stopped the shot. After 8 played minutes Øygard's Erling Mundal stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Erlend Stenerud stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing SK Brann Bergen of the goal. After 9 played minutes Øygard got a freekick which was hit by Tor Hall. Aksel Berentsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy Hallan, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Øygard's Aksel Berentsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmy Hallan in the 13th minute of play. Aksel Berentsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimmy Hallan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When SK Brann Bergen's Jimmy Hallan in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Aksel Berentsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy Hallan, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Jimmy Hallan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aksel Berentsen. Øygard's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jimmy Hallan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After the first half SK Brann Bergen were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erling Mundal to make the kick off. Sven Midtbø struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Aksel Berentsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Brann Bergen. If Sven Midtbø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kristen Engebakken during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Øygard:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SK Brann Bergen:s goal. Aksel Berentsen went to the wrong direction when Sven Midtbø was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. If Erling Mundal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Aksel Berentsen managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when SK Brann Bergen's Sven Midtbø fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Asbjørn Thorsø during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of SK Brann Bergen booed when Øygard was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asbjørn Thorsø didn't get a good kick on the ball. Øygard's Aksel Berentsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Øygard from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmy Hallan in the 79th minute of play forced Øygard's goalkeeper Aksel Berentsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven Midtbø recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Øygard's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Celius came free, but Aksel Berentsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aksel Berentsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoffer Myhrvold in the 88th minute of the match. Aksel Berentsen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Peter Celius showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 90 minute of play. Peter Celius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aksel Berentsen having to interfere.
