Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jimmy Hallan took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 13th minute of the match, Sven Midtbø got a very nice opportunity to score, but Brede Hassel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 1-0 became the score in the 17th minute when Jimmy Hallan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Alexander Stensland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kavåsen FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 29 minutes into the match, SK Brann Bergen's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Grønning came free, but Erlend Stenerud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brede Hassel made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Sven Midtbø sent off a good shot on target. Sven Midtbø could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Brede Hassel made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Sven Midtbø managed to get in a good position for a shot. SK Brann Bergen's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven Midtbø was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brede Hassel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brede Hassel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmy Hallan in the 44th minute of play. Eric Grønning kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Eric Grønning hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

With a little luck, SK Brann Bergen's Erlend Stenerud got control of the ball when Gard Rognes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gard Rognes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Erlend Stenerud came out and tried to block the shot, but Gard Rognes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 59th minute. 62 minutes into the match, SK Brann Bergen's goalkeeper Erlend Stenerud had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gard Rognes. When Halvard Eikenes fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kavåsen FF's protests and gave Halvard Eikenes a yellow card for diving instead. Sven Midtbø sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 66 minutes of play, SK Brann Bergen's Peter Celius made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brede Hassel was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Kavåsen FF booed when SK Brann Bergen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Kenneth Krog didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christoffer Myhrvold scored 3-2 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brede Hassel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brede Hassel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Celius in the 75th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Kavåsen FF defense, Peter Celius kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brede Hassel. The Kavåsen FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brede Hassel should have stopped the shot. Adam Ravn charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adam Ravn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adam Ravn kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 84 played minutes Kavåsen FF got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Christiansen. Henrik Yndestad didn't quite understand what happened when in the 87 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. During the 90th minute of the match Adam Ravn completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Adam Ravn a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Peter Celius put it in 5-2 from a short distance just to the right of Brede Hassel. There was no doubt that SK Brann Bergen were the better team. SK Brann Bergen's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
