The Øygard fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 91st minute, Mats Bjørnstad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Junkerdalen BK's zone, Erling Mundal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joachim Østgård came out of the goal and Erling Mundal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle went the supporters of Junkerdalen BK were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Øygard side.
