The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Rastaman United booed when Waldemars Gutter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Moen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, Jørund Norland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Waldemars Gutter fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a rather tough play, Rastaman United's Max Østbye got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute Raymond Stokkan suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Jørund Norland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Tarjei Gilde made a huge save. Lars Tungland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Magnus in the 25th minute of play. Andreas Magnus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andreas Magnus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Tungland having to interfere. In the 35th minute Andreas Magnus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Tungland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andreas Magnus struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Lars Tungland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rastaman United. In the 43rd match minute, Rastaman United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Østbye to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jørund Norland to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Sebastian Moen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waldemars Gutter's Lars Tungland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Magnus in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to Waldemars Gutter getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Henrik Rosenberg hit a great ball. If Jørund Norland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Jørund Norland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Henrik Nyberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Tungland having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Henrik Nyberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rastaman United's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrik Nyberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lars Tungland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Rastaman United players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Waldemars Gutter from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
