Trond Olsen kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Ole-Einar Thommesen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Peder Tøsse when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Trond Olsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristian Opsal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trond Olsen in the 27th minute of play forced Bjørgja BF's goalkeeper Kristian Opsal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josef Edvartsen hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Arthur Ohnstad might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kristian Opsal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arthur Ohnstad ran back to his position shaking his head. Arthur Ohnstad struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Kristian Opsal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Z. Trond Olsen took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristian Opsal. Kristian Opsal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marius Bjorøy to make the kick off. A collision led to Bjørgja BF getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Josef Edvartsen hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur Ohnstad in the 59th minute of play forced Bjørgja BF's goalkeeper Kristian Opsal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Z's Trond Olsen got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 64 minutes into the game, John Birkeland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Z's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bjørgja BF the free kick. The supporters of Bjørgja BF booed when FC Z was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Birkeland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peder Tøsse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ole-Einar Thommesen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kristian Opsal came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Z's Tang Xiong Cheng. But to his dismay, Tang Xiong Cheng quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Trond Olsen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Kristian Opsal made a huge save. Kristian Opsal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Ohnstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After some careless play in the Bjørgja BF defense, Arthur Ohnstad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kristian Opsal. The Bjørgja BF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kristian Opsal should have stopped the shot. In the 84thth minute of the game Trond Olsen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bjørgja BF's Kristian Opsal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kristian Bjørkås succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 85th playminute. After a defensive mix-up in Bjørgja BF's zone, Arthur Ohnstad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristian Opsal came out of the goal and Arthur Ohnstad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 98 minutes into the game, FC Z's Trond Olsen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kristian Opsal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. The Bjørgja BF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Z were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
