The audience thought a goal was coming when Didrik Norderhaug got free with Morten Støle in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Linus Reite might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roald Beck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Linus Reite ran back to his position shaking his head. If Didrik Norderhaug had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Tyssen BK's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Lausund came free, but Morten Støle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Linus Reite put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Roald Beck. Runar Sanden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the game, Axel Selvik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Roald Beck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Linus Reite stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 90th minute, Finn Willumsen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Morten Støle was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. After a defensive mix-up in Bøva BK's zone, Runar Sanden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roald Beck came out of the goal and Runar Sanden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tyssen BK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
