Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Inge Benjaminsen kicked off to start the match. Erik Thorsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Bjarne Skavhaug tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inge Benjaminsen in the 17th minute of play forced Klubbeneshamn IF's goalkeeper Bjarne Skavhaug to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 played minutes Klubbeneshamn IF got a freekick which was hit by Olaf Nesset. Erik Thorsen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bjarne Skavhaug having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frode Bergmann in the 22nd minute of play forced Latnæringen FF's goalkeeper Daniel Mehl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Klubbeneshamn IF getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Nils Lillestøl hit a great ball. Ole-Gunnar Giske was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 26th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 28th minute, Erik Skogheim made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Mehl. Latnæringen FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to Klubbeneshamn IF getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Olaf Nesset hit a great ball. Erik Thorsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Latnæringen FF's zone, Erik Skogheim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Mehl came out of the goal and Erik Skogheim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inge Benjaminsen in the 41st minute of play forced Klubbeneshamn IF's goalkeeper Bjarne Skavhaug to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erik Thorsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bjarne Skavhaug having to interfere. Erik Thorsen in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bjarne Skavhaug, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 47th minute, Egil Stølan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ole-Gunnar Giske, 48 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After the first half Klubbeneshamn IF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Erik Skogheim made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Klubbeneshamn IF got a freekick which was hit by Niklas Hebnes. After 60 played minutes Latnæringen FF got a freekick which was hit by Edvard Hoel. The crowd rose to their feet as Klubbeneshamn IF's Frode Bergmann slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Daniel Mehl. That made the score 0-2 after 62 minutes of play. In the 65th minute, Erik Skogheim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute, Frode Bergmann made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Mehl. Latnæringen FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Bjarne Skavhaug took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Thorsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute Erik Skogheim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Mehl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Mehl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Skogheim, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 82ndth minute of the game Erik Skogheim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Latnæringen FF's Daniel Mehl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Latnæringen FF's Daniel Mehl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Latnæringen FF from getting a goal against them. Erik Thorsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the game, Latnæringen FF's Inge Benjaminsen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bjarne Skavhaug made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 93rd minute, Odd-Eirik Grønstad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Klubbeneshamn IF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Klubbeneshamn IF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
