When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Frode Bergmann sped through Reinskard's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Torvald Forland. Reinskard's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Guddal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bjarne Skavhaug breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erik Skogheim made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Reinskard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Zahl to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the game, Johan Langhelle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reinskard's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Klubbeneshamn IF the free kick. In the 59th minute, Christian Guddal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Reinskard fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Reinskard's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Steen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erik Skogheim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torvald Forland having to interfere. Erik Skogheim struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Torvald Forland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Klubbeneshamn IF. Bjarne Skavhaug showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Guddal in the 73rd minute of the match. Reinskard's Torvald Forland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Skogheim in the 75th minute of play. Torvald Forland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frode Bergmann in the 76th minute. Sebastian Zahl hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Reinskard's Johan Langhelle got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Johan Langhelle off the ground. Johan Langhelle kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match.
