Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Åsmund Owren started the match with the kick off. Åsmund Owren's late challenge caught a Stabæk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Åsmund Owren helped the player get up and apologised. 5 minutes into the game, Thorbjørn Falch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stabæk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK Oftenåsen the free kick. In the 5th match minute, Stabæk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thorbjørn Falch to maneuver through the defense. Åsmund Owren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Tor-Henrik Thomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Åsmund Owren took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tor-Henrik Thomas. Tor-Henrik Thomas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After some careless play in the Stabæk defense, Åsmund Owren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tor-Henrik Thomas. The Stabæk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tor-Henrik Thomas should have stopped the shot. When Thorbjørn Falch was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 21 minutes had been played. Åsmund Owren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Tor-Henrik Thomas made a huge save. Lars Tokle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Åsmund Owren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tor-Henrik Thomas having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 34th minute by Åsmund Owren got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Sander Stålesen kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Åsmund Owren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Stabæk's goalkeeper Tor-Henrik Thomas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Åsmund Owren.

Tor-Henrik Thomas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Laugen, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The supporters of FK Oftenåsen booed when Stabæk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remi Slyngstad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomas Sæterbø charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thomas Sæterbø the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thomas Sæterbø hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Anan As showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Tokle, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 78 minutes into the game, Åsmund Owren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Tor-Henrik Thomas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tor-Henrik Thomas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åsmund Owren in the 81st minute of the match. If Åsmund Owren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Opheim hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Yuri de Queiroz struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Tor-Henrik Thomas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Oftenåsen. After 93 played minutes Stabæk got a freekick which was hit by Torbjørn Tufte. FK Oftenåsen's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
