Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ole-Jostein Walle started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ole-Jostein Walle in the 4th minute of play forced Bjørgo's goalkeeper Torkel Helgesen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torkel Helgesen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ole-Jostein Walle in the 5th minute of the match. Erik Asheim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Jon-Erik Nesset made a huge save. Jon-Erik Nesset made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erik Asheim in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute, Erik Asheim made a precise shot to the right of Jon-Erik Nesset. Forfot's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 21st minute, Kyrre Langedal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bjørgo's Torkel Helgesen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ole-Jostein Walle in the 28th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lennart Barka during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kjell Weiseth blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jon-Erik Nesset having to make a save. The supporters of Bjørgo booed when Forfot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymond Ihle didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Forfot's Kasper Wiborg got a free kick in the 45th minute. Kjell Weiseth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jon-Erik Nesset tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kjell Weiseth to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Bjørgo's zone, Thomas Sunde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torkel Helgesen came out of the goal and Thomas Sunde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thomas Sunde took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Torkel Helgesen. Torkel Helgesen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Thomas Sunde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torkel Helgesen having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Asheim in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jon-Erik Nesset prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 73 minutes into the match, Ole-Jostein Walle dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Torkel Helgesen, 1-3. Tor-Arne Barstad charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tor-Arne Barstad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Forfot booed when Bjørgo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tor-Arne Barstad didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 89 minutes, Tor-Arne Barstad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bjørgo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tor-Arne Barstad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erik Asheim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon-Erik Nesset having to interfere. When Kjell Weiseth came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Bjørgo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kjell Weiseth couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute, Erik Asheim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eivind Eidissen hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Forfot supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Forfot would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
