Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Kjell Weiseth started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pål Madland in the 6th minute of play forced Bjørgo's goalkeeper Torkel Helgesen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Dag Skjerven made a precise shot to the right of Torkel Helgesen. Bjørgo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Erik Asheims short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Ole-Gunnar Thomsen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 14th minute Sivert Lauvås shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torkel Helgesen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Pål Madland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pål Madland in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torkel Helgesen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Dag Skjerven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th of the match, Kjell Weiseth tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Ole-Gunnar Thomsen got in the way and made a wonderful save. Tor-Kristian Velde hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Erik Asheim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ole-Gunnar Thomsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ole-Gunnar Thomsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell Weiseth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Bjørgo's zone, Pål Madland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torkel Helgesen came out of the goal and Pål Madland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Dag Skjerven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tor-Arne Barstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ole-Gunnar Thomsen having to interfere.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pål Madland to strike the kick off in the second half. Erik Asheim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ole-Gunnar Thomsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Kjell Weiseth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bjørgo's supporters rose to their feet, but Kjell Weiseth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ole-Gunnar Thomsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ole-Gunnar Thomsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Asheim, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Erik Asheim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ole-Gunnar Thomsen having to interfere. If Kjell Weiseth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Bjørgo's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Odland came free, but Torkel Helgesen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th match minute, Bjørgo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell Weiseth to maneuver through the defense. If Erik Asheim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rånes's Ole-Gunnar Thomsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell Weiseth in the 93rd minute of play. Kjell Weiseth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
