After having played for 3 minutes, Martin Tobiassen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kvåle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Tobiassen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Brattåker IF's Runar Svendsrud got a free kick in the 5th minute. Brattåker IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Jo Høye scored to the left of an out of position Philip Øverli, making the score, 1-0. In the 10th minute, Martin Tobiassen made a precise shot to the right of Philip Øverli. Brattåker IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Runar Svendsrud's late challenge caught a Kvåle's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Runar Svendsrud helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Brattåker IF getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Runar Svendsrud hit a great ball. Kvåle's Jo Høye got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brattåker IF's Philip Øverli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Brattåker IF from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute, Jo Høye got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Tobiassen got free with Philip Øverli in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Martin Tobiassen in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Philip Øverli, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jo Høye fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Øverli having to interfere. Martin Tobiassen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Philip Øverli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Philip Øverli was a little too slow when Jo Høye got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 3-0. Philip Øverli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Tobiassen went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
The wind increased when Finn-Christian Melhus made the kick off in the second half. Martin Tobiassen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Philip Øverli having to make a save. Martin Tobiassen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Philip Øverli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Jo Høye left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kvåle fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 61st minute, Jo Høye got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Linus Sandstad hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jo Høye in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Philip Øverli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65th minute, Martin Tobiassen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 69 minutes into the game, Jo Høye cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Philip Øverli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 72nd minute Martin Tobiassen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Øverli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Martin Tobiassen put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Philip Øverli. In the 78th minute, Martin Tobiassen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jo Høye in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Philip Øverli saved Brattåker IF from getting behind. In the 83rd minute, Linus Sandstad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute Jo Høye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Øverli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Brattåker IF getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Runar Svendsrud hit a great ball. Philip Øverli came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Kvåle's Jo Høye. But to his dismay, Jo Høye quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Philip Øverli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Tobiassen in the 97th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Kvåle players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
