Sander Alards tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Wensing's late challenge caught a Meister SV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Wensing helped the player get up and apologised. Meister SV's Sander Telkamp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim van der Werff in the 9th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Gerard Waidijk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meister SV's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerard Waidijk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sander Alards breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Olaf Jorna came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Meister SV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olaf Jorna couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Meister SV's Sander Telkamp got control of the ball when Martijn Neijsen tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olaf Jorna in the 17th minute of play forced Berghuizen HC's goalkeeper Sander Alards to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Meister SV's Olaf Jorna in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Berghuizen HC's goalie prevented a goal. Martijn Neijsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Berghuizen HC's Martijn Neijsen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Martijn Neijsen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Sander Telkamp made a huge save. Ger Pool kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. When Wim van der Werff came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Berghuizen HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim van der Werff couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the game, Ger Pool was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Meister SV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Berghuizen HC the free kick. A collision led to Meister SV getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ger Pool hit a great ball. In the 45th minute Olaf Jorna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sander Alards saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olaf Jorna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Olaf Jorna made the kick off in the second half. Berghuizen HC's Sander Alards proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Berghuizen HC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Berghuizen HC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Michael Borker hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Meister SV's Pascal Mols broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Sander Alards made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olaf Jorna in the 61st minute of play. Meister SV's Sander Telkamp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim van der Werff in the 67th minute of play. After 69 minutes, Wim van der Werff made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Meister SV's Sander Telkamp tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 74th minute, Wim van der Werff ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sander Telkamp was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. If Martijn Neijsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pascal Mols hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Berghuizen HC's Frits Jeronimus tried to score from far away in the 87th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Meister SV's Ger Pool got a free kick in the 88th minute. Meister SV's Sander Telkamp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martijn Neijsen in the 89th minute of play. Martijn Neijsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Wim van der Werff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berghuizen HC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
