Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Timmermans in the 4th minute of play forced Nijeberkoop's goalkeeper Pieter-Jan Snoeks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Nijeberkoop's Gerard Fellinger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eelco Bas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nijeberkoop's Pieter-Jan Snoeks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Timmermans in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to Nijeberkoop getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Frank Wilson hit a great ball. The supporters of Munnikeburen FC booed when Nijeberkoop was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Wilson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nijeberkoop's Cees Ottens got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Egbert Knuppel hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After 25 played minutes Munnikeburen FC got a freekick which was hit by Egbert Knuppel. 26 minutes into the game, Gerard Fellinger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Eelco Bas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eelco Bas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerard Fellinger in the 33rd minute of play. Eelco Bas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerard Fellinger, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Gerard Fellinger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eelco Bas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Florian Timmermans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Pieter-Jan Snoeks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerard Fellinger was the one to do the kick off. Gerard Fellinger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Eelco Bas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 57 minutes, Vincent Peeters managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nijeberkoop's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vincent Peeters was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gerard Fellinger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eelco Bas having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Munnikeburen FC's Egbert Knuppel got a free kick in the 60th minute. Herbert Clarijs lost his temper 72 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 71st minute, one of Nijeberkoop:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nijeberkoop. In the 76th match minute, Munnikeburen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egbert Knuppel to maneuver through the defense. Vincent Peeters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eelco Bas having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Gio van der Linden was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Munnikeburen FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nijeberkoop the free kick. A collision led to Munnikeburen FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Gio van der Linden hit a great ball. When Antoon Meulenbergh fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nijeberkoop's protests and gave Antoon Meulenbergh a yellow card for diving instead. After 86 played minutes Nijeberkoop got a freekick which was hit by Antoon Meulenbergh. In the 88th minute Edgar Schattenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pieter-Jan Snoeks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 minutes, Frank Wilson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nijeberkoop and the Munnikeburen FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute of the match Joop Boeve sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pieter-Jan Snoeks skillfully saved the ball. If Frank Wilson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nijeberkoop's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
