Boeikop's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buchten SC the free kick. 6 minutes into the game, Jacco Haken cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Joeri Wagemakers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 10th minute Arjen Zegwaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joeri Wagemakers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Boeikop defense, Denny Kromkamp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joeri Wagemakers. The Boeikop fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joeri Wagemakers should have stopped the shot. After 16 played minutes Buchten SC got a freekick which was hit by Carsten Brinke. Joeri Wagemakers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arjen Zegwaard in the 18th minute of play. Boeikop's Joeri Wagemakers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arjen Zegwaard in the 19th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Arjen Zegwaard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Joeri Wagemakers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 22 played minutes Buchten SC got a freekick which was hit by Denny Kromkamp. In the 26th minute Ralf Ekelhoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinhard Bakhuis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boeikop's Ralf Ekelhoff got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Buchten SC's Reinhard Bakhuis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Buchten SC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henk Warringa in the 35th minute of play forced Boeikop's goalkeeper Joeri Wagemakers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Henk Warringa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joeri Wagemakers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arjen Zegwaard scored 0-5 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joeri Wagemakers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Coos Rensenbrink made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Arjen Zegwaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joeri Wagemakers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, Coos Rensenbrink cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Reinhard Bakhuis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Coos Rensenbrink recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Ekelhoff in the 60th minute of play forced Buchten SC's goalkeeper Reinhard Bakhuis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olof Talsma kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. If Jacco Haken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Denny Kromkamp kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Coos Rensenbrink's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reinhard Bakhuis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Joeri Wagemakers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arjen Zegwaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After 76 minutes, Denny Kromkamp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buchten SC and the Boeikop players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joeri Wagemakers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henk Warringa in the 80th minute of the match. Joeri Wagemakers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henk Warringa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Buchten SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ralf Ekelhoff came free, but Reinhard Bakhuis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denny Kromkamp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Joeri Wagemakers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Boeikop's Jens de Boer got a free kick in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the game, Jacco Haken was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. When the final whistle sounded Buchten SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Boeikop.
