Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Heiko Sloothaak kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Heiko Sloothaak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bert Zon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Bedum Bulls getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Koos Bergen hit a great ball. Bert Zon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casper Slot, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Bert Zon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bas Heulmann in the 13th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Koos Bergen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Casper Slot had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bert Zon. Bedum Bulls's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Casper Slot was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casper Slot in the 26th minute of play forced Bedum Bulls's goalkeeper Bert Zon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Bedum Bulls's goal looked a bit too open when Casper Slot came free, but Bert Zon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bedum Bulls's Dirk-Jan Dorenbosch was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 34th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Gorpeind HC's goalkeeper Kelvin Schulte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan Wiersma. The supporters of Gorpeind HC booed when Bedum Bulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Koos Bergen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casper Slot scored 3-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bert Zon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dirk-Jan Dorenbosch was the one to do the kick off. Bert Zon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bas Heulmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Dirk-Jan Dorenbosch put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Kelvin Schulte. Jan Wiersma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Dirk-Jan Dorenbosch put it in 5-2 from a short distance just to the right of Kelvin Schulte. 68 minutes into the game, Casper Slot recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bert Zon. Casper Slot showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-3. In the 74th minute, Bas Heulmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 played minutes Bedum Bulls got a freekick which was hit by Hans Even. If Jan Wiersma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute Dirk-Jan Dorenbosch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kelvin Schulte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Gorpeind HC's goal looked a bit too open when Dirk-Jan Dorenbosch came free, but Kelvin Schulte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dirk-Jan Dorenbosch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Kelvin Schulte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kelvin Schulte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dirk-Jan Dorenbosch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Bedum Bulls's Dirk-Jan Dorenbosch in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gorpeind HC's goalie prevented a goal. Dirk-Jan Dorenbosch took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kelvin Schulte. Kelvin Schulte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-3. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bedum Bulls had won after a very even match.
