Demy Dorenbosch struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Nick Schokkenbroek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for fc pieter. The supporters of fc pieter booed when Den Haag Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bas Grommers didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Demy Dorenbosch managed to get in a good position for a shot. fc pieter's supporters rose to their feet, but Demy Dorenbosch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nick Schokkenbroek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute of the match Bas Grommers shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Coos Dolfing showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pepijn Dekens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Coos Dolfing having to interfere. Sjors de Vogt hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Joep Lurling struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Nick Schokkenbroek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for fc pieter. fc pieter's Coos Dolfing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save fc pieter from getting a goal against them. If Fabiën Som had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 43rd minute Joep Lurling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nick Schokkenbroek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Demy Dorenbosch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Nick Schokkenbroek made a huge save. If Fabiën Som had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nick Schokkenbroek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joep Lurling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute, Elmar Witting hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the match, fc pieter's goal looked a bit too open when Pepijn Dekens came free, but Coos Dolfing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiën Som in the 82nd minute of play forced fc pieter's goalkeeper Coos Dolfing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Joep Lurling got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabiën Som in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Coos Dolfing prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
