Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edgard Kooij took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of West Thrace FC booed when Maaldrift was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geert Arend Sans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dirk Joppets made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erwin Brouwer in the 3rd minute. Maaldrift's Erwin van Westerop got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Edgard Kooij kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dirk Joppets. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Maaldrift's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Kooij came free, but Dirk Joppets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 minutes, Jasper Mos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the West Thrace FC and the Maaldrift players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Maaldrift booed when West Thrace FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jasper Mos didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Henny van der Gun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maaldrift's Dirk Joppets proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Maaldrift from getting a goal against them. Edgard Kooij recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erwin Brouwer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dirk Joppets having to interfere. Dirk Joppets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Kooij in the 23rd minute of the match. Lucas Vonk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henny van der Gun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Jasper Mos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Erwin Brouwer made a precise shot to the right of Dirk Joppets. Maaldrift's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Erwin Brouwer took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dirk Joppets. Dirk Joppets dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Geert Arend Sans charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geert Arend Sans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th minute, Geert Arend Sans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute, Erwin Brouwer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dirk Joppets made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Erwin Brouwer sent off a good shot on target. If Erwin Brouwer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dirk Joppets made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Demy Thole sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henny van der Gun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Henny van der Gun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lucas Vonk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Schoenmakers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dirk Joppets came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by West Thrace FC's Edgard Kooij. But to his dismay, Edgard Kooij quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Erwin Brouwer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dirk Joppets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Kooij in the 70th minute of play. Edgard Kooij recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erwin Brouwer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Dirk Joppets tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erwin Brouwer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute.
