Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mitchell Ravenbergen started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Heemskerk CF were awarded a corner. Joep Meindert went to the cornerflag to take it. Mitchell Ravenbergen struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Anton Ebbinge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schingen Excelsior. When Robert Waldijk came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Heemskerk CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Waldijk couldn't finish the play. In the 8th match minute, Heemskerk CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Willem Lammers to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mitchell Ravenbergen in the 10th minute of play forced Heemskerk CF's goalkeeper Anton Ebbinge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 played minutes Heemskerk CF got a freekick which was hit by Joep Meindert. Kristof Hulzebos made in the 19th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ricky Halen. The supporters of Heemskerk CF booed when Schingen Excelsior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heiko Dost didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Martien Vaalman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th minute, Nigel Kruis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Heiko Dost sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anton Ebbinge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heiko Dost in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Martien Vaalman made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martien Vaalman in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yorrick Tijink prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kristof de Zeeuw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Heemskerk CF's Martien Vaalman in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Schingen Excelsior's goalie prevented a goal. Heiko Dost recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yorrick Tijink showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jhon Sandstra, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 68th minute Mitchell Ravenbergen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Ebbinge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heiko Dost sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 72 minutes of play, Heemskerk CF's Robert Waldijk made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yorrick Tijink was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th match minute, Heemskerk CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jelmer Onrust to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Heemskerk CF defense, Heiko Dost kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anton Ebbinge. The Heemskerk CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anton Ebbinge should have stopped the shot. Mitchell Ravenbergen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Anton Ebbinge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mitchell Ravenbergen came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Schingen Excelsior fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mitchell Ravenbergen couldn't finish the play. If Robert Waldijk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gert Oosting had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anton Ebbinge didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 97th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2.
