Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Schingen Excelsior's Mitchell Ravenbergen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Mitchell Ravenbergen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lex Maurits sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Schingen Excelsior's zone, Henk Koerts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yorrick Tijink came out of the goal and Henk Koerts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lex Maurits fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yorrick Tijink having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Hardingsveld's Richard van Zaanen got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute, Ricky Halen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yorrick Tijink made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lex Maurits in the 21st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Henk Koerts managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hardingsveld's supporters rose to their feet, but Henk Koerts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yorrick Tijink breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gert Oosting kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 37th match minute, Hardingsveld was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lex Maurits to maneuver through the defense. Mitchell Ravenbergen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian de Jager having to interfere.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lex Maurits to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Lex Maurits's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yorrick Tijink was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. After having played for 53 minutes, Lex Maurits managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hardingsveld's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lex Maurits was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yorrick Tijink took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lex Maurits, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Schingen Excelsior's zone, Lex Maurits stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yorrick Tijink came out of the goal and Lex Maurits tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64thth minute of the game Lex Maurits who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Schingen Excelsior's Yorrick Tijink was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lex Maurits in the 69th minute of play forced Schingen Excelsior's goalkeeper Yorrick Tijink to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Ricky Halen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Schingen Excelsior's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hardingsveld the free kick. A collision led to Schingen Excelsior getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ricky Halen hit a great ball. Lex Maurits scored 1-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yorrick Tijink, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Hardingsveld's Lex Maurits in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Schingen Excelsior's goalie prevented a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Florian de Jager successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Yorrick Tijink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Ros in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute of the match, Heiko Dost got a very nice opportunity to score, but Florian de Jager was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ricky Halen hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Hardingsveld players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
