Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Klaas Jan Ommen got the match started through his kick off. Barrier fc's Martien Molnar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Barrier fc from getting a goal against them. Martien Brunt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gertjan Degens having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Franck Lange's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martien Molnar was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Martien Molnar didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 21st minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pieter-Jan Kloppenburg got free with Martien Molnar in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pieter-Jan Kloppenburg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martien Molnar having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Franck Lange recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Martien Molnar. Franck Lange showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Pieter-Jan Kloppenburg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Martien Molnar made a huge save. 34 minutes into the game, Jordi van de Meerakker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barrier fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vemde FC the free kick. Jordi van de Meerakker hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After having played for 40 minutes, Martien Brunt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrier fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martien Brunt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Franck Lange made the kick off in the second half. Pieter-Jan Kloppenburg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martien Molnar having to interfere. Klaas Jan Ommen struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Gertjan Degens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barrier fc. Henny Fransen charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henny Fransen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 57 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Barrier fc's Martien Brunt fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 62nd minute, Pieter-Jan Kloppenburg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gertjan Degens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klaas Jan Ommen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martien Molnar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Franck Lange went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Martien Brunt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Gertjan Degens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 minutes, Franck Lange made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Barrier fc's Martien Molnar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barrier fc's goalkeeper Martien Molnar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pieter-Jan Kloppenburg in the 82nd minute of play forced Barrier fc's goalkeeper Martien Molnar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute Pieter-Jan Kloppenburg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martien Molnar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vemde FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
