Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Philip Scheer started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Leendert Looze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Broos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Asschot RKSV's Henry Broos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leendert Looze in the 7th minute of play. Henry Broos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leendert Looze, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Bob Jeronimus was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th match minute, Asschot RKSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bob Jeronimus to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute of the match Marick Brans shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henry Broos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Robin Owusu Abeyie scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Allard Winters, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ton Seinstra kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Djept's Marick Brans shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 24th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Henry Broos but with some difficulty. Ger Wansink succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 26th playminute. 2-1 became the score in the 29th minute when Leendert Looze elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Gerard Visser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Allard Winters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Djept's Bertus Peters got a free kick in the 37th minute. Asschot RKSV's Philip Scheer got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henry Broos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niek Scheffer in the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Leendert Looze made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Djept booed when Asschot RKSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berry Mulders didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henry Broos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leendert Looze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Asschot RKSV booed when Djept was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niek Scheffer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Leendert Looze ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henry Broos was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Henry Broos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertus Peters in the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Leendert Looze left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Djept fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerard Visser in the 77th minute of play forced Djept's goalkeeper Allard Winters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Asschot RKSV booed when Djept was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leendert Looze didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godfried Blanker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st match minute, Djept was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertus Peters to maneuver through the defense. The Djept support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
