Jan Vrieze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerrit Duinhoven in the 2nd minute of the match. After 3 minutes, Falco Sterenberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Prichart and the Zandkant players grew even worse after the yellow card. 5 minutes into the match, Prichart's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Gerseke came free, but Jan Vrieze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerrit Duinhoven in the 7th minute of play forced Prichart's goalkeeper Jan Vrieze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stef Spijker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnout Zwiers in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th match minute, Zandkant was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boudewijn Hesseling to maneuver through the defense. Boudewijn Hesseling hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the game, Zandkant's Henk Castelen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan Vrieze made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Jan Vrieze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Gerseke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan Vrieze made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henk Castelen in the 34th minute. In the 34th match minute, Prichart was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Rein Ostermann to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elco Naaijer in the 40th minute of play forced Zandkant's goalkeeper Stef Spijker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Zandkant's zone, Elco Naaijer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stef Spijker came out of the goal and Elco Naaijer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnout Zwiers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stef Spijker didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elco Naaijer went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Henk Castelen in the 61st minute of play forced Prichart's goalkeeper Jan Vrieze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Eric Paas fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Prichart's protests and gave Eric Paas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd match minute, Prichart was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Paas to maneuver through the defense. After 63 played minutes, Zandkant's Otto Daems shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jan Vrieze came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zandkant reached it. Jan Rein Ostermann's late challenge caught a Zandkant's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan Rein Ostermann helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th match minute, Zandkant was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boudewijn Hesseling to maneuver through the defense. Elco Naaijer's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Stef Spijker skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jan Vrieze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boudewijn Hesseling in the 71st minute of play. Falco Sterenberg hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute of the match Otto Daems sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan Vrieze skillfully saved the ball. Jan Vrieze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boudewijn Hesseling in the 82nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Prichart's Jan Rein Ostermann got a free kick in the 90th minute. 93 minutes into the game, Henk Castelen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jan Vrieze was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Zandkant had won after a very even match.
