Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jens Akkerman kicked off to start the match. After 4 played minutes Westergeest FC got a freekick which was hit by Kees Hermensen. In the 5th minute Jens Akkerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryan Bronkhorst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Westergeest FC's Kees Hermensen got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute, Elbert Barels got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jens Akkerman scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ryan Bronkhorst, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 11thth minute of the game Elbert Barels who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Westergeest FC's Ryan Bronkhorst was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ammerzoden HC's Jens Akkerman in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Westergeest FC's goalie prevented a goal. Rafael Blank made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Benjamin Lensen sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Ammerzoden HC's Martien Barendregt got a free kick in the 19th minute. Rafael Blank was a little too slow when Jasper Rijaard got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ate Dussel during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th minute, Ate Dussel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martien Barendregt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryan Bronkhorst having to interfere. During the 38th minute of the match Ate Dussel completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ate Dussel a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Westergeest FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Ate Dussel hit a great ball. A collision led to Ammerzoden HC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Wilfred Valk hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the game, Domenik Pinksteren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Westergeest FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ammerzoden HC the free kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

After 52 played minutes, Ammerzoden HC's Wilfred Valk shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ryan Bronkhorst came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ammerzoden HC reached it. Ryan Bronkhorst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens Akkerman in the 58th minute of the match. If Elbert Barels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jasper Rijaard's late challenge caught a Ammerzoden HC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jasper Rijaard helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 played minutes Westergeest FC got a freekick which was hit by Jasper Rijaard. Jens Akkerman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ryan Bronkhorst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jasper Rijaard hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Kees Hermensen charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kees Hermensen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ammerzoden HC booed when Westergeest FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kees Hermensen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Ammerzoden HC's Erben Schuurmans tried to score from far away in the 70th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Benjamin Lensen came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Westergeest FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Lensen couldn't finish the play. Martien Barendregt hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute Benjamin Lensen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Blank saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kees Hermensen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ammerzoden HC's goalkeeper Rafael Blank, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benjamin Lensen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Blank having to interfere. Jens Akkerman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute, Benjamin Lensen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Westergeest FC booed when Ammerzoden HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martien Barendregt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Pepijn Dost got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
