Ryan Bronkhorst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Medgyesi, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute of the match Roeland Elst sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ryan Bronkhorst skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Wittenbrink booed when Westergeest FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domenik Pinksteren didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Westergeest FC's Ryan Bronkhorst got control of the ball when Gertjan Jonkman tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jasper Rijaard made a kick off. If Benjamin Lensen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 53 minutes, Mike Appel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wittenbrink and the Westergeest FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mike Appel kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Ralph van der Stoel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jasper Rijaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Westergeest FC's Ryan Bronkhorst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gertjan Jonkman in the 58th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Gertjan Jonkman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wittenbrink's supporters rose to their feet, but Gertjan Jonkman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ryan Bronkhorst breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benjamin Lensen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Ralph van der Stoel made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gertjan Jonkman in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ryan Bronkhorst prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Westergeest FC's Eric Bas got a free kick in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the game, Gertjan Jonkman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ryan Bronkhorst was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gertjan Jonkman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Marco Medgyesi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Benjamin Lensen notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Wittenbrink's Ralph van der Stoel. Ralph van der Stoel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gertjan Jonkman scored 2-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ryan Bronkhorst, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
