Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Douwe de Vogt took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fred Wagemakers in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gido Kersten prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dick van Bommel kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. When Gellicum's Jacco Elders in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Robur et Velocitas's goalie prevented a goal. 13 minutes into the match, Gellicum's goalkeeper Wessel van Putten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matthijs Israel. Gellicum's Wessel van Putten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douwe de Vogt in the 14th minute of play. If Douwe de Vogt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 23rd minute by Matthijs Israel got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Douwe de Vogt did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Wessel van Putten 23 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Fred Wagemakers made a precise shot to the right of Gido Kersten. Robur et Velocitas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Wessel van Putten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douwe de Vogt, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Douwe de Vogt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Wessel van Putten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacco Elders stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Robur et Velocitas's Dick van Bommel in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gellicum's goalie prevented a goal. Wessel van Putten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dick van Bommel in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacco Elders in the 55th minute of play forced Robur et Velocitas's goalkeeper Gido Kersten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Robur et Velocitas's Matthijs Israel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wessel van Putten narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Douwe de Vogt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wessel van Putten having to interfere. Hans Overmars's late challenge caught a Robur et Velocitas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hans Overmars helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th minute, Kevin Nieuwburg sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gellicum's Wessel van Putten didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, Gellicum's Patrick Oortwijn got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 82nd minute Jacco Elders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gido Kersten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Douwe de Vogt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gellicum's goalkeeper Wessel van Putten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 95 minutes, Ramon Zuidam mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Robur et Velocitas and the Gellicum players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ramon Zuidam kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Robur et Velocitas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
