Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Klaas Jan Zeegers started the match with the kick off. If Mart Moes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klaas Jan Zeegers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Jordi de Bruin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jordi de Bruin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klaas Jan Zeegers in the 12th minute of play. Jacco Roewen made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Roelof Hoiting sent off a good shot on target. Roelof Hoiting's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Jacco Roewen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mart Moes in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jordi de Bruin saved Wijmers from getting behind. Nico-Jan Wibier might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacco Roewen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nico-Jan Wibier ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 29th minute, Klaas Jan Zeegers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bhutan Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jordi de Bruin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klaas Jan Zeegers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 minutes, Jacco Heebels mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wijmers and the Bhutan Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bhutan Utd booed when Wijmers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacco Heebels didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mart Moes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jordi de Bruin came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Bhutan Utd's Mart Moes. But to his dismay, Mart Moes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Bhutan Utd's Jacco Roewen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico-Jan Wibier in the 51st minute of play. In the 54th minute, Mart Moes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Bhutan Utd's Mart Moes got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Klaas Jan Zeegers came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Bhutan Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Klaas Jan Zeegers couldn't finish the play. After having played for 79 minutes, Roelof Hoiting managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wijmers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roelof Hoiting was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico-Jan Wibier in the 83rd minute of play forced Bhutan Utd's goalkeeper Jacco Roewen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Klaas Jan Zeegers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wijmers's Nico-Jan Wibier got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jordi de Bruin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klaas Jan Zeegers in the 92nd minute of the match. When Jelte Koeling fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wijmers's protests and gave Jelte Koeling a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bhutan Utd booed when Wijmers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jelte Koeling didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Wijmers supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bhutan Utd's performance. The match ended with a win for Bhutan Utd.
