Jan Brack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klaas Jan Zeegers in the 5th minute of the match. After 7 minutes of play, Bhutan Utd's Mart Moes made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan Brack was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hans Cruijff charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hans Cruijff the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hans Cruijff kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 11th minute of the match Erik Waesbergen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan Brack showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Mart Moes could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which Jan Brack however easily saved by the left post. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Mats Gunnarsson sped through Bhutan Utd's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacco Roewen. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erik Waesbergen during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Stoof booed when Bhutan Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Waesbergen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Stoof's goal looked a bit too open when Hendrik-Jan Valx came free, but Jan Brack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Thomas Geerdink hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erik Waesbergen got his second yellow card in the match during the 31st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. If Mart Moes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stoof's Jan Brack proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Stoof from getting a goal against them. Mart Moes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Brack having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Brain Drent made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mart Moes in the 54th minute of play forced Stoof's goalkeeper Jan Brack to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alwin Engelaar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Brack having to interfere. Mats Gunnarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacco Roewen having to interfere. After 57 minutes of play Stoof's Hans Cruijff was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 58 played minutes Stoof got a freekick which was hit by Hans Cruijff. 62 minutes into the match, Stoof's goal looked a bit too open when Mart Moes came free, but Jan Brack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 minutes, Theo Kuipers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stoof and the Bhutan Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th minute there was a penalty for Bhutan Utd. Menno van der Sar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jan Brack. 2-1. A collision led to Stoof getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. 赵珂平 hit a great ball. When Mats Gunnarsson fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stoof's protests and gave Mats Gunnarsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, Mats Gunnarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricky Zaagman in the 83rd minute of play forced Bhutan Utd's goalkeeper Jacco Roewen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mart Moes in the 88th minute of play forced Stoof's goalkeeper Jan Brack to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stoof succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Bhutan Utd had controlled the match.
