Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After 5 minutes of play, Horst's Arnout van der Schaaf made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rogier van Zaanen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arnout van der Schaaf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Rogier van Zaanen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Heide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogier van Zaanen having to interfere. Rogier van Zaanen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Heide in the 21st minute of the match. Jan Daalmeyer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Kerkbuurt HC's zone, Arnout van der Schaaf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogier van Zaanen came out of the goal and Arnout van der Schaaf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Horst getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Simon Heide hit a great ball. In the 33rd match minute, Kerkbuurt HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael de Zwart to maneuver through the defense. Matthijs Boon shot a long shot in the 33rd minute and a light blocked Rogier van Zaanen hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-2. After some careless play in the Kerkbuurt HC defense, Arnout van der Schaaf kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogier van Zaanen. The Kerkbuurt HC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogier van Zaanen should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Arnout van der Schaaf put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Rogier van Zaanen. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan Daalmeyer made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Michael de Zwart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes into the match, Kerkbuurt HC's goalkeeper Rogier van Zaanen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnout van der Schaaf. Rogier van Zaanen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Heide in the 55th minute of play. With his leg Rogier van Zaanen managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Horst's Arnout van der Schaaf fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The attack was good, but when Simon Heide in the 64th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Rogier van Zaanen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Heide in the 66th minute of the match. After 68 minutes, Frederik Adelaar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Horst and the Kerkbuurt HC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 68 played minutes Horst got a freekick which was hit by Frederik Adelaar. The audience was convinced that Arnout van der Schaaf's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rogier van Zaanen was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Simon Heide received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rogier van Zaanen came out and tried to block the shot, but Simon Heide slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 74th minute. If Simon Heide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rogier van Zaanen came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Horst's Arnout van der Schaaf. But to his dismay, Arnout van der Schaaf quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. In the 87th minute Simon Heide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogier van Zaanen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simon Heide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 played minutes Kerkbuurt HC got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Zonneveld. With a little luck, Kerkbuurt HC's Rogier van Zaanen got control of the ball when Arnout van der Schaaf tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Horst left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kerkbuurt HC.
