Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Elbert Blikman started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Berry Planting came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Horst's Simon Heide. But to his dismay, Simon Heide quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Arnout van der Schaaf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 7 played minutes Wetsens got a freekick which was hit by Mike Kielstra. Arnout van der Schaaf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 14 minutes of play, Horst's Arnout van der Schaaf made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Berry Planting was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart de Boer in the 18th minute of play forced Horst's goalkeeper Rudolf Overdiep to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon Heide received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Berry Planting tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Wetsens booed when Horst was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Heide didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horst's Simon Heide managed to work through Wetsens's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Simon Heide dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simon Heide in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Berry Planting saved Wetsens from getting behind. In the 44th of the match, Elbert Blikman tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Rudolf Overdiep got in the way and made a wonderful save. Arnout van der Schaaf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Simon Heide made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Simon Heide took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Berry Planting to make any attempt to save it. Kristian Dalmeijer's late challenge caught a Wetsens's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kristian Dalmeijer helped the player get up and apologised. After 55 played minutes Horst got a freekick which was hit by Kristian Dalmeijer. Rudolf Overdiep took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elbert Blikman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Berry Planting showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Heide, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Kees Buys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Overdiep having to interfere. After 68 minutes of play, Wetsens's Elbert Blikman made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Heide couldn't finish the play. Horst's Arnout van der Schaaf got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lennart de Boer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Rudolf Overdiep tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
