Bruchem's Wessel de Rudder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heiko Terpstra in the 8th minute of play. Edgar de Kort didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Richard de Zaaijer went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Harmen Bruin kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Haagoord's Harmen Bruin got a free kick in the 21st minute. Richard de Zaaijer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Edgar de Kort tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Philip de Boer came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Bruchem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Philip de Boer couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute, Harris Hendriks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th match minute, Haagoord was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heiko Terpstra to maneuver through the defense. Bruchem's Richard de Zaaijer got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd match minute, Haagoord was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bennie Bosman to maneuver through the defense. Edgar de Kort was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Philip de Boer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 36 minute of play. Richard de Zaaijers short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Edgar de Kort to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Philip de Boer made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Heiko Terpstra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haagoord's supporters rose to their feet, but Heiko Terpstra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wessel de Rudder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Harmen Bruin charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harmen Bruin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th minute, Harmen Bruin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Philip de Boer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Philip de Boer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 61st minute of the match Harmen Bruin completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Harmen Bruin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 61st match minute, Haagoord was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harmen Bruin to maneuver through the defense. After 62 played minutes, Bruchem's Billy van Putten shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edgar de Kort came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bruchem reached it. Richard de Zaaijer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Philip de Boer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bruchem's supporters rose to their feet, but Philip de Boer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar de Kort breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Haagoord's zone, Philip de Boer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar de Kort came out of the goal and Philip de Boer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Philip de Boer in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgar de Kort prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Bruchem's Richard de Zaaijer in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Haagoord's goalie prevented a goal. Edgar de Kort stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Richard de Zaaijer's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. The audience was convinced that Philip de Boer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar de Kort was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Richard de Zaaijer might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgar de Kort. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Richard de Zaaijer ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Heiko Terpstra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haagoord's supporters rose to their feet, but Heiko Terpstra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruchem's attack was well implemented in the 86th minute, but when Philip de Boer was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. 89 minutes into the match, Philip de Boer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar de Kort. Haagoord's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Philip de Boer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Heiko Terpstra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Bruchem players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
