Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pieter-Jan Wikenburg in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gert Hofman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 9 played minutes Rockanje S.V. got a freekick which was hit by Robert Haydon. Wessel Scheepstra's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Gert Hofman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 27 minutes into the match, Wittewerf's Werner Nibbelke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ryan Pragt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, one of Wittewerf:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Coos Aalst fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wittewerf's protests and gave Coos Aalst a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Wittewerf getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Coos Aalst hit a great ball. Pieter-Jan Wikenburg's late challenge caught a Wittewerf's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pieter-Jan Wikenburg helped the player get up and apologised. Pieter-Jan Wikenburg hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Coos Aalst in the 46th minute of play forced Rockanje S.V.'s goalkeeper Ryan Pragt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wessel Scheepstra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gert Hofman having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Gert Hofman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wessel Scheepstra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pieter-Jan Wikenburg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Gert Hofman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Coos Aalst got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gert Hofman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pieter-Jan Wikenburg in the 63rd minute of the match. Pieter-Jan Wikenburg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gert Hofman having to interfere. When Werner Nibbelke came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Wittewerf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Werner Nibbelke couldn't finish the play. Ryan Pragt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 100th minute, Robert Haydon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rockanje S.V.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
