Otto Geerts helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Wons FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Otto Geerts hit a great ball. In the 15th minute of the match, Patrick Mulders tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kelvin de Vries saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pijnakker's Ron Panter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Kruiswijk in the 27th minute of play. Ron Panter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Kruiswijk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Wons FC's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Mulders came free, but Kelvin de Vries reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucien Teuben got free with Kelvin de Vries in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrick Mulders in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kelvin de Vries saved Wons FC from getting behind. After having played for 36 minutes, Lucien Teuben managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pijnakker's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucien Teuben was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Patrick Mulders came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Pijnakker fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrick Mulders couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute, Thomas Kruiswijk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nico-Jan Kok received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ron Panter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thomas Kruiswijk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thomas Kruiswijk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nico-Jan Kok sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
