Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jelmer Grasmaaijer kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Kaumeshoek's Carlo van den Hoogen got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute Hans Bartels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Sijmonds saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 played minutes Riperkerk SC got a freekick which was hit by Tjeerd Ritsma. In the 8th minute, Hans Bartels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teo Sijmonds made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Jeroen van der Sar sent off a good shot on target. Kaumeshoek's Edgar Kersten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jelmer Grasmaaijer in the 17th minute of play. After having played for 27 minutes, Jelmer Grasmaaijer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riperkerk SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jelmer Grasmaaijer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jelmer Grasmaaijer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hans Bartels kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The wind increased when Hans Bartels made the kick off in the second half. Kaumeshoek's Edgar Kersten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jelmer Grasmaaijer in the 53rd minute of play. Riperkerk SC were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Kaumeshoek's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jim Hoogstrate took the corner. Jelmer Grasmaaijer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Edgar Kersten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jelmer Grasmaaijer struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Edgar Kersten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riperkerk SC. In the 68th minute, Jeroen van der Sar made a precise shot to the right of Teo Sijmonds. Riperkerk SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 73rd minute Domenik Wesveld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Sijmonds saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 played minutes Riperkerk SC got a freekick which was hit by Jeroen Bont. Teo Sijmonds took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Bartels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jelmer Grasmaaijer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Jelmer Grasmaaijer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 88 minutes, Jelmer Grasmaaijer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riperkerk SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jelmer Grasmaaijer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teo Sijmonds made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeroen van der Sar in the 90th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Carlo van den Hoogen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teo Sijmonds was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Riperkerk SC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Kaumeshoek had won, even though Riperkerk SC had held more of the ball.
