FCJ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flevo HC the free kick. The supporters of Flevo HC booed when FCJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Peter Wegman didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julius Post in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eric Ottenhof saved FCJ from getting behind. FCJ's Andrzej Majtyka got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerrit Grasmaaijer made in the 29th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ernst Platvoet. In the 30th minute of the match, Andrzej Majtyka tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Felix Thole saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gerrit Grasmaaijer kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th match minute, FCJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emile Fokkelman to maneuver through the defense. Flevo HC's Felix Thole played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Collins in the 40th minute of play. Felix Thole showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrzej Majtyka in the 55th minute of the match. Andreas Beishuizen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Felix Thole tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
