Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Berend Buskermolen took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Pieter Tollenaar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hild S.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Pieter Tollenaar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Berend Buskermolen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rick Fleur having to interfere. Gerard Jochemsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pieter Tollenaar in the 9th minute of play. Pieter Tollenaar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Gerard Jochemsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emil Kromme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Rick Fleur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pieter Tollenaar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Vlissingen's goalkeeper Gerard Jochemsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Youri van de Meerakker. Berend Buskermolen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Rick Fleur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute Berend Buskermolen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rick Fleur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hild S.C.'s Pieter Beuk got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After 44 played minutes Vlissingen got a freekick which was hit by Albert Deuring. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pieter Tollenaar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Hild S.C.'s goalkeeper Rick Fleur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stephan de Hoop. After having played for 61 minutes, Youri van de Meerakker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hild S.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Youri van de Meerakker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Emil Kromme fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vlissingen's protests and gave Emil Kromme a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Youri van de Meerakker in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerard Jochemsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pieter Tollenaar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerard Jochemsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pieter Tollenaar in the 75th minute of the match. Stephan de Hoop blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rick Fleur having to make a save. Rick Fleur had great luck who in the 83rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Berend Buskermolen from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Pieter Tollenaar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Gerard Jochemsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pieter Tollenaar struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Gerard Jochemsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hild S.C.. 91 minutes into the match, Hild S.C.'s Pieter Tollenaar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gerard Jochemsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Hild S.C.'s Ronald Maurits got a free kick in the 91st minute. The attack was good, but when Stephan de Hoop in the 97th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vlissingen eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
