Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Berend Buskermolen started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Port City X booed when Vlissingen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Koen Spiering didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stijn Alberts in the 13th minute of play forced Vlissingen's goalkeeper Gerard Jochemsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerard Jochemsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stijn Alberts in the 19th minute of the match. If Stephan de Hoop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stephan de Hoop fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jelle Harding having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stephan de Hoop in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jelle Harding saved Port City X from getting behind. Jelle Harding made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berend Buskermolen in the 28th minute of play. Jacco Tinselboer succeeded in the game's 38th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Berend Buskermolen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jelle Harding having to interfere. Ed van As hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Jacco Tinselboer made the kick off in the second half. Frank Stam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerard Jochemsen having to interfere. If Stephan de Hoop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Port City X's goal looked a bit too open when Berend Buskermolen came free, but Jelle Harding reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Port City X's Ed van As got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 72nd match minute, Port City X was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ed van As to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Jacco Tinselboer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Port City X's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacco Tinselboer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerard Jochemsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frank Stam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerard Jochemsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stijn Alberts in the 82nd minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Stijn Alberts made a precise shot to the right of Gerard Jochemsen. Vlissingen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Berend Buskermolen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jelle Harding tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute Stephan de Hoop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jelle Harding saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Although Vlissingen had been in control for most of the match, Port City X still came away with the win.
