Henk Walregt kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Termaar VV's Leon Boschker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Freek Klompe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Freek Klompe made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Ferdinant Oss sent off a good shot on target. In the 5th minute, Ton Willemsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Seagulls's zone, Leon Boschker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freek Klompe came out of the goal and Leon Boschker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Termaar VV's Ferdinant Oss got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Freek Klompe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Boschker in the 19th minute of the match. In the 19th match minute, Seagulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ton Willemsen to maneuver through the defense. After 21 minutes, Richard Hilbrands mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seagulls and the Termaar VV players grew even worse after the yellow card. Richard Hilbrands kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Diderik Weerman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Seagulls's Jos Westerhof got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the game, Seagulls's Joost Wermans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jordy de Ridder made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 35th minute, Ferdinant Oss got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Freek Klompe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Boschker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jordy de Ridder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joost Wermans in the 42nd minute of the match. If Joost Wermans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joost Wermans made a kick off. Freek Klompe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinant Oss in the 54th minute of play. Freek Klompe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinant Oss, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Termaar VV's Ferdinant Oss sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Freek Klompe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Leon Boschker made a precise shot to the right of Freek Klompe. Seagulls's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Joost Wermans was extremely unlucky when he, in the 71st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to Termaar VV getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Mark Piening hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Termaar VV's Leon Boschker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Freek Klompe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 80 played minutes Termaar VV got a freekick which was hit by Dirk Ginneken. 82 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Boschker came free, but Freek Klompe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Termaar VV's Leon Boschker in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Seagulls's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Leon Boschker put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Freek Klompe. Ferdinant Oss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Freek Klompe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
