Arie Huizing could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Wouter de Gooijer made a huge save. Wouter de Gooijer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arie Huizing in the 10th minute of play. Pieter Boeve hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. If Ab Thijsse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute Ab Thijsse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Meindert van Steensel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ab Thijsse hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The supporters of Enumatil FC booed when Driebruggen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pieter Boeve didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ivo Som came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Driebruggen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivo Som couldn't finish the play. Enumatil FC's Wouter de Gooijer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Enumatil FC from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

54 minutes into the game, Driebruggen's Arie Huizing nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wouter de Gooijer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Wouter de Gooijer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arie Huizing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronny Opdam's late challenge caught a Driebruggen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronny Opdam helped the player get up and apologised. After 62 played minutes Enumatil FC got a freekick which was hit by Ronny Opdam. Berry Diggele charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Berry Diggele the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Enumatil FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Driebruggen:s goal. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Enumatil FC's goalkeeper Wouter de Gooijer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ab Thijsse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Driebruggen defense, Karsten Huisman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Meindert van Steensel. The Driebruggen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Meindert van Steensel should have stopped the shot. Wouter de Gooijer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arie Huizing in the 85th minute of the match. Jeroen van Gessel hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After 87 played minutes, Enumatil FC's Arjen Evans shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Meindert van Steensel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Enumatil FC reached it. In the 90th match minute, Enumatil FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arjen Evans to maneuver through the defense. Ferry Dijkstra kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Martien Apotheker was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 97th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The Enumatil FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Driebruggen from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
