Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Bram Iepstra made the kick off and thus started the match. 6 minutes into the match, Poppe's goal looked a bit too open when Anthony van der Meijde came free, but Ramon Dijkstra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Bram Iepstra made a precise shot to the right of Ramon Dijkstra. Poppe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ramon Dijkstra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bram Iepstra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramon Melis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jochem Reints's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Anthony van der Meijde kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Scharendijke FC's zone, Bert Eulen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramon Melis came out of the goal and Bert Eulen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Scharendijke FC's goalkeeper Ramon Melis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bert Eulen. Ramon Dijkstra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Meyer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bram Iepstra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bert Eulen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Ramon Melis made a huge save. 33 minutes into the game, Scharendijke FC's Bram Iepstra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramon Dijkstra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When David Meyer came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Scharendijke FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Meyer couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, David Meyer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scharendijke FC's supporters rose to their feet, but David Meyer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramon Dijkstra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Poppe's Jim Looze got a free kick in the 45th minute. Ramon Dijkstra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bram Iepstra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jochem Reints was the one to do the kick off. Mart Karremans kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Gert Kristoffers kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The supporters of Scharendijke FC booed when Poppe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jim Looze didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Meyer struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Ramon Dijkstra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scharendijke FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bram Iepstra in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramon Dijkstra saved Poppe from getting behind. 69 minutes into the match, Poppe's goal looked a bit too open when Bram Iepstra came free, but Ramon Dijkstra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Meyer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bert Eulen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Ramon Melis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Poppe's Freek de Zee got a free kick in the 78th minute. Scharendijke FC's Bram Iepstra got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bert Eulen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ramon Melis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Scharendijke FC's Ramon Melis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jochem Reints in the 86th minute of play. The Poppe fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Scharendijke FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
