Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bram Iepstra kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute, Ate Zeeman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Japke Knol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Japke Knol, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 17 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ramon Melis was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. David Meyer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Weerd having to interfere. Japke Knol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ramon Melis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramon Melis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Japke Knol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Meyer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 played minutes Minnertsga got a freekick which was hit by Leon Hebels. David Meyer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Japke Knol to strike the kick off in the second half. Bram Iepstra struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Jacob Weerd didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scharendijke FC. Jacob Weerd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bram Iepstra in the 59th minute of play. Ramon Melis didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 62nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Japke Knol struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Ramon Melis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minnertsga. If Bram Iepstra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When David Kroeze came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Minnertsga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Kroeze couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute, Japke Knol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Kroeze got free with Ramon Melis in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anthony van der Meijde hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Minnertsga's Damien Kinear tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute Japke Knol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Melis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Meyer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Minnertsga had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
