Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Yuri Wilminck started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Stort's Gerard Zijden got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 3 played minutes Wissinkhoek VV got a freekick which was hit by Roel Koster. Roland Bos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Yuri Wilminck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Wissinkhoek VV booed when Stort was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul van Dijk didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Stort getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Joost Prinsen hit a great ball. Derk van Dam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roland Bos went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 31 played minutes Stort got a freekick which was hit by Gertjan Zwarthoet. John Hardering made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Carel Oosterman sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute Yuri Wilminck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Derk van Dam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gertjan Zwarthoet fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stort's protests and gave Gertjan Zwarthoet a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Stort's Gertjan Zwarthoet got a free kick in the 38th minute. Carel Oosterman took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised John Hardering. John Hardering dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Henry Meurs kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. If Richard Baatenburg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Richard Baatenburg made the kick off in the second half. Carel Oosterman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Stort getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Gerard Zijden hit a great ball. In the 55th minute, Carel Oosterman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Richard Baatenburg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. John Hardering tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. John Hardering showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Baatenburg in the 59th minute of the match. Stort's John Hardering played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Baatenburg in the 61st minute of play. The supporters of Wissinkhoek VV booed when Stort was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johan Weken didn't get a good kick on the ball. Richard Baatenburg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. John Hardering tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute of the match Frans Braamhaar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but John Hardering skillfully saved the ball. If Richard Baatenburg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Wissinkhoek VV's goalkeeper Derk van Dam had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roland Bos. Derk van Dam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuri Wilminck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Derk van Dam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Wilminck in the 86th minute of play. After 88 minutes of play, Stort's Yuri Wilminck made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Derk van Dam was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roel Koster kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Derk van Dam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Wilminck in the 93rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Wilminck in the 95th minute of play forced Wissinkhoek VV's goalkeeper Derk van Dam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the game, Roel Koster was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wissinkhoek VV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stort the free kick. The Stort supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Stort would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
