Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Yuri Wilminck took the kick off in the first half of the match. John Hardering made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Overdiep in the 5th minute of play. When Paul van Dijk fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stort's protests and gave Paul van Dijk a yellow card for diving instead. Paul van Dijk hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, Molenrij's Willem Everts sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that John Hardering narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dennis Overdiep hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Yuri Wilminck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Sjors Mols tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Roland Bos came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Stort fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roland Bos couldn't finish the play. Sjors Mols took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuri Wilminck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dennis Overdiep had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John Hardering showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willem Everts, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The supporters of Molenrij booed when Stort was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johan Weken didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute of the match, Yuri Wilminck tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sjors Mols saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 32ndth minute of the game Yuri Wilminck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Molenrij's Sjors Mols was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Stort's Yuri Wilminck in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Molenrij's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Wilminck in the 37th minute of play forced Molenrij's goalkeeper Sjors Mols to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willem Everts in the 38th minute of play forced Stort's goalkeeper John Hardering to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 39 in the game by Roland Bos from a close distance when the talented Sjors Mols managed to make a qualified save. Molenrij's players were relieved. Yuri Wilminck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Sjors Mols tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dennis Overdiep was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute of the match Gertjan Zwarthoet sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sjors Mols skillfully saved the ball. After 56 played minutes Molenrij got a freekick which was hit by Henny Sándor. Sjors Mols showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathieu Heebels in the 57th minute of the match. Yuri Wilminck struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Sjors Mols didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stort. Stort's Yuri Wilminck got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yuri Wilminck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Willem Everts could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which John Hardering however easily saved by the left post. Stort's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Dennis Overdiep 73 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. Sjors Mols came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Stort's Gerard Zijden. But to his dismay, Gerard Zijden quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Johan Weken kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. If Roland Bos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Gerard Zijden fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stort's protests and gave Gerard Zijden a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th match minute, Stort was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerard Zijden to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Cees Dam sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Stort's John Hardering didn't even have to move. Stort were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
