Egbert Adriaanse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maarten Bartels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12thth minute of the game Maarten Bartels who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wetsinge's Egbert Adriaanse was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Harald Zenden kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Luissel's goal looked a bit too open when Damien Germs came free, but Robert Hadders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joop Vrede sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maarten Bartels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egbert Adriaanse having to interfere. Japke Dalman kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Maarten Bartels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Egbert Adriaanse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Luissel getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Danny Wijkstra hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Gijs Wotte made the kick off in the second half. If Damien Germs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Hadders made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damien Germs in the 56th minute of play. In the 69th minute Joop Vrede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Hadders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Wetsinge's Joop Vrede nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robert Hadders made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 82 minutes into the match, Wetsinge's goalkeeper Egbert Adriaanse had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maarten Bartels. Joop Vrede might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robert Hadders. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joop Vrede ran back to his position shaking his head. After 85 played minutes Luissel got a freekick which was hit by Roland Bosma. 94 minutes into the match, Luissel's goal looked a bit too open when Joop Vrede came free, but Robert Hadders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wetsinge were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Luissel for a fine match.
