The supporters of Visberg FC booed when Nyawier FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teun de Rudder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bjorn Korts short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Marc Veentjer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Guus Knuppel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jordy Karelse didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guus Knuppel went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Nyawier FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bjorn Kort was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Visberg FC's Marc Veentjer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joop Zeydeveld in the 74th minute of play. Nyawier FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
