Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pierre Fava kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, San Pawl il-Baħar's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Galea came free, but Carlo Catania reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute, Zach Borg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicholas Biasini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlo Catania read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute Isaac Galea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Catania saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniele Bencini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Cassar kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Pierre Fava received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Roderick Trapani Galea Feriol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 27th play minutes Pierre Fava shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Roderick Trapani Galea Feriol and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 31st match minute, San Pawl il-Baħar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Degabriele to maneuver through the defense. Carlo Catania took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Galea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pierre Fava in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roderick Trapani Galea Feriol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pierre Fava sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicholas Biasini to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Tarġa Gap's goal looked a bit too open when Daniele Bencini came free, but Roderick Trapani Galea Feriol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pierre Fava in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roderick Trapani Galea Feriol saved Tarġa Gap from getting behind. Pierre Fava took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roderick Trapani Galea Feriol. Roderick Trapani Galea Feriol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Roderick Trapani Galea Feriol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniele Bencini in the 68th minute of the match. Oliver Fava charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oliver Fava the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Daniele Bencini managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Pawl il-Baħar's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniele Bencini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roderick Trapani Galea Feriol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Daniele Bencini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roderick Trapani Galea Feriol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniele Bencini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Daniele Bencini notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Tarġa Gap's Roderick Trapani Galea Feriol. Roderick Trapani Galea Feriol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nicholas Biasini's late challenge caught a San Pawl il-Baħar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicholas Biasini helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Tarġa Gap was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicholas Biasini to maneuver through the defense. If Isaac Galea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlo Catania took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicholas Biasini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniele Bencini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roderick Trapani Galea Feriol having to interfere. Roderick Trapani Galea Feriol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniele Bencini in the 86th minute of the match. Godwin Schembri Zerafa, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Pierre Fava took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roderick Trapani Galea Feriol. Roderick Trapani Galea Feriol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. San Pawl il-Baħar had played much better football throughout.
