With his leg Dylan Cucciardi managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Blata l-Bajda's Luca Hili fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Brandon Sevasta kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. James Titley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Mattia Griffiths had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gavin Cornelisse. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Gafà made a kick off. In the 62nd minute, Julian Gafà got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Rabat Ajax supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rabat Ajax would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
